Losing and Finding Your Spark
Hi Babe,
The isolation really takes its toll and many are suffering in the same way as you. It can make you feel depleted and withdrawn.
Rather than focusing on the big things such as job hunting, etc, think about smaller things that you could do that you enjoyed pre-lockdown.
Small daily rituals can also help, tiny routines that we can take for granted, like how you start your day. Getting up at a regular time, coffee, stretch, read or listen to a short positive podcast. Maybe try having just one conversation per week to begin with, your loved ones are probably all experiencing some level of what you’re going through too. You may be the one person that brightens their day, rather than a drain. When you don’t want to talk it’s still very cool to listen and trust me it helps!
If you can, get out even a couple of times a week for a few minutes. Perhaps tell a trusted friend how you really feel and arrange a walk and go. Pardon the pun but it will feel like a huge step forward.
Life will slowly resume but don’t feel rushed, just small steps at your own pace and you will begin to feel a shift in your energy and what you can handle.
Please book a chat if you want to talk, I am here!
With love, Malee
