Looking Ahead

Hi Babe,

I get that now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel it can feel too bright and make you want to retract to the comfort of what you’ve known and adjusted to over the course of lockdown.

Many clients I work with suffer with anxiety, it tricks us into feeling emotional stress about events that have not happened yet. Our minds are incredible at creating stories and concerns about our lives and that triggers a reaction in our bodies making us experience the feelings as if it were all true.

Don’t fight these sensations but pay close attention to them and by acknowledging the feeling but using your awareness to bring yourself back to the here and now. Remind yourself that you are in a position of choice. You can steer your career, life and how you live it, in whichever direction you really want.

There is no way of knowing the future but if you put your energy and focus into what YOU want, it will help you feel excited about what’s to come rather than fearful. Now is the perfect time to make your intentions clear. Plan some things you enjoy doing that you have missed since the pandemic. Having things to look forward to will help you feel lighter about post lockdown.

With love,

Malee
